Torrents stuck at downloading meta data

 · Hi, I seem to be having a trouble downloading today, 2 of my torrents seem to be stuck on 'Downloading Metadata'. I downloaded earlier and it was fine, is there anything I .  · Quite frequently I get stuck on 'Downloading Metadata' for certain torrents, whilst at the same time others download just fine. If I go to ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent and delete topfind247.co and topfind247.co files then those stuck at 'Downloading metadata' start downloading but then a few days later I will run into the same problem.  · Certain magnet links are stuck on "Downloading metadata". Restarting the torrent do not work. Pause and Start. Restarting qbittorrent do not work. It shows many seeds and peers but it is not fetching the torrent file. Both uTorrent and Tixati is able to download the torrent file.

If I go to ~/Library/Application Support/uTorrent and delete topfind247.co and topfind247.co files then those stuck at 'Downloading metadata' start downloading but then a few days later I will run into the same problem. The seeder and you are for one reason or the other not connecting for transfer. Possible reasons could be anything from port forwarding issues to either of you not having DHT enabled (or the seeder being busy seeding something else). You having the torrent file wouldn't make a difference in this case. My advice: let it sit and be patient.
